Hi, I’m Mark Esperti, the founder of The Pro Home Buyer. I’ve spent most of my adult life building businesses, solving real-life problems, and working directly with people.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked in real estate construction, development, and investment throughout Central Massachusetts and the Greater Boston area. During that time, I saw firsthand the troubles and difficulties homeowners face when trying to sell their properties.

I’ve seen families struggle with inherited homes involving multiple heirs and decades of accumulated belongings. I’ve met homeowners trying to sell houses with major repairs or damage that make a traditional sale difficult. I’ve also seen landlords who are tired of dealing with difficult tenants, ongoing maintenance, and code issues.

That was the beginning of The Pro Home Buyer. And from the outset, my goal has always been to build a company that homeowners can trust, especially when facing difficult real estate situations.
While every real estate situation is different, I realized that most homeowners want the same thing: a clear understanding of their options and straightforward next steps. That’s when I knew I could use my experience in construction, development, and direct property purchases to help homeowners make informed decisions when faced with difficult circumstances.

My Approach to Helping Massachusetts Homeowners

My approach has always been to first listen to each homeowner to understand what’s happening, what challenges they are facing, and what they hope to achieve. Then, I walk them through their options for free, so they can make the best decisions for themselves and their families. I don’t pressure people to sell their homes.

Over the years, I have worked with homeowners who inherited damaged houses they didn’t want to keep. I’ve also worked with families facing hoarding situations where the sheer volume of belongings made preparing the property for sale feel overwhelming.

And on several occasions, I’ve provided practical solutions to landlords dealing with unpaid rent, tenant access issues, or who were simply overwhelmed by the day-to-day stress of managing their property.

In each situation, my priority is to help them make informed decisions. When selling their house is the right solution, I’m happy to buy it directly. And when it isn’t, I’ll provide other practical solutions. My background in construction, renovation, permitting, and redevelopment also allows me to evaluate properties and repair issues that many traditional buyers struggle to understand.

I’m not a real estate broker, and I don’t pass homeowners’ details on to third parties or remarket their properties behind the scenes. I also don’t depend on banks or other lenders to buy a house. When I make a promise to help or buy, I always follow through.

I understand that some homeowners need to sell as quickly as possible. In those situations, I draw on my years of construction experience and up-to-date knowledge of the local market to evaluate the property, assess any repairs it may need, and provide a fair, no-obligation offer within 24 hours.

When you work with me, my goal is to provide practical solutions and help you understand them clearly so you can take the right next steps. I’ll happily talk you through your situation and offer guidance at no cost. And when I make you an offer, you have no obligation to accept it.
